Using the workbench
Open /app after signing in. The screen is a menu bar, a row of tabs (one per open file) and, for the active tab, the editor for its kind.
G-code files
- Settings sidebar: machine size, stock block (position and size), Z zero, work origin offset, tool diameter, simulation resolution and Precise cut edges. Press Apply & re-simulate to run the program against the new settings; File → Save stores the file.
- Transport: play/pause, step, run to end, a scrub slider and a speed selector. Heavy programs are streamed: the playhead waits for the simulation rather than freezing the page.
- Measurements: pieces, largest piece size and position, surface heights, removed/remaining volume, collisions.
- View: drag to orbit, scroll to zoom, WASD or arrows pan (Shift = faster). Mark region lets you drag a box on the stock and add a note — this is what an assistant connected over MCP sees as your highlight.
- Simulation state: save the current heightmap to your storage and restore it later.
Drawing files (SVG)
- Tools: select/move, rectangle, ellipse, polygon, and SVG import. Objects live in a tree on the right: drag to reorder, group to make layers, toggle visibility and lock.
- Give shapes (or whole layers) a machining operation in the properties panel, then Generate G-code — a linked G-code tab opens with the toolpaths, ready to play. Regenerate after changes.
Model files (3D)
- Add a sketch at a height, draw rectangles/circles/polygons on it, then extrude them up or down as joins or cuts. The timeline is evaluated top to bottom.
- Generate G-code performs waterline roughing from the stock top; the result opens in a linked G-code tab.
Sharing
- File → Publish to gallery… creates a public, frozen copy with a thumbnail from your current view. Manage them under My published designs.
- Import from the gallery with the button on any design page.
Account
- Account → Storage shows usage against the 50 MB quota; Connected apps lists MCP clients you authorised and lets you revoke them.
